Time to Talk Day with a Lavender Biscuit.




Lavender is a great healer and fantastic for calmness. The 3rd Feb  is national #TimeToTalk day and I can think of nothing better then catching up with a cuppa and a Lavender Biscuit. These are so easy to do and great ingredients to keep your larder stocked and your garden growing.

To make the Lavender sugar simply combine 100g of caster sugar and 2 teaspoons of lavender

You will then need:

110g Butter

56g Lavender sugar

170g Plain flour

Method:

1. Cream the butter and sugar together and gently stir in the flour

2. Knead until it all comes together

3. Roll out thinly on a lightly floured surface

4. Cut shapes and place on a lightly greased tray (or just use baking paper)

5. Bake at 180c, 160 fan, Gas no.4 for 15 minutes

6. Cool on a wire tray.
